Abstract

Marrakech has experienced great urban dynamics, contributed to the expansion of the urban area, but of course, this extension has significant impact on the environmental level, especially water resources which has experienced a significant decline in various districts of the city. If we take, for example, the area of ​​Mhamid, which has seen great development in the urban landscape, it has led to population growth and a significant increase in economic activities, in particular, those that consume a lot of water; the thing that has caused the area to lose a significant share of its water resources due to high demand and declining supply.
