Abstract

This study explores the components of action, ethical standards, and the power of imagination. Its purpose is to understand the concept of imagination in the philosophy of Paul Ricoeur, which plays a central role in his perception of the meaning of things, identity, and action. Ricoeur’s philosophy can be comprehended through imagination, as he does not view it merely as a psychological force but rather as a semantic force with a profound impact on our daily life. This means that imagination is not just a mental activity confined to mental images; rather, it extends beyond that to reconstruct reality and engage with it in a new method.
