The leader is considered the essential and central pillar in crisis management, with the crisis itself serving as a true test of the leader and the contingency plans previously established.

The success of a leader in managing a crisis depends on the effort and planning undertaken during the pre-crisis phase, while their role after the crisis emerges in addressing its impacts, rebuilding the organization, achieving objectives, and restoring balance. Leadership excellence lies in the ability to transform a crisis and its associated challenges and risks into opportunities to unleash creative potential, using the crisis as a chance to reconstruct the organization, reshape circumstances, and find suitable and alternative solutions for future challenges.
