Abstract

The study aimed to identify the parties to the conflict in the Middle East over natural gas, while defining the goals and aspirations of each of these parties, especially since there is a need in many countries of the world, especially the countries of the North, for this clean energy in light of the cold climate in which they live.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study reached a set of results, the most important of which is that the competition for natural gas in the region took one of the forms of international competition, and it is expected that international competition in the Mediterranean basin will continue for decades to come, especially in light of the high cost of extracting American natural gas.
