Abstract

The study aims to reveal the prevalence of the Varroa destructor in the Al-Husseiniyah district and the variability in infection rates within the same area. The research endeavors to reveal the main criteria governing the geographic distribution of the Varroa destructor in the Al-Husseiniyah district and to provide a general understanding of these concepts. Similarly, the study seeks to ascertain the extent of the Varroa destructor's dispersion within the jurisdiction and the disparities in infection rates across different beekeeping associations. This trajectory is underpinned by the study's reliance on the applied geographical methodology, which is grounded in the application of geographical knowledge and skills for resolving socio-economic and environmental predicaments. Besides, the study employs the experimental approach, in which specific hypotheses are examined by employing survey, statistical, analytical, explanatory, and associational methods.
