الملخص

تتركز هذه الدراسة حول أثر البيئة الأسرية في تنشئة الفرد، ولما لها من أثر في بلورة أفكاره ورؤاه، ولاسيما كان الأبوان محبين للعلم والتعلم، هكذا عاش جون ملتن موضوع بحثنا هذا، وسط بيئة شغوفة بالمعرفة والتزود منها، وحريصة أيما حرص على حصول أبنها على قدر كبير من العلم، ولذا عهد بتعليمه عند أبرز الشخصيات العلمية آنذاك، فبرزت مواهبه الأدبية وأخذت نتاجاته الفكرية بالنمو.

لم تكن حياة جون ملتن معبدة بالسعادة، وإنما نال منه الحزن حيزاً كبيراً، ومع ذلك بقي متمسكاً بالأمل والقلم واخذت نتاجاته الأدبية والمعرفية تتوالى وصارت منابراً لتعريف قراءها بما آ من به من آراء إصلاحية جعل التعليم أولى أدواته وأهمها وصولاً الى مساهمته في الحياة السياسية في إنكلترا، وتبنيه أفكارا كالسلام وحرية النشر والتعبير والإصلاح الديني وتعديل نظام الكنيسة في بلاده، فضلاً عن إيمانه بضرورة فصل الدين عن الدولة، وتأييده لنظام سياسي تقوده النخبة المثقفة من أبناء بلده.

بقي جون ملتن معطاءً وذا نتاجاً فكرياً مميزاً رغم فقدانه لبصره واعتزاله بمنزله حتى أفل نجمة عام ١٦٧٤م.

This is how John Milton, the subject of this research, lived in an environment passionate about knowledge and acquiring it, and very keen for his son to obtain a great deal of knowledge. Therefore, he entrusted his education to the most prominent scientific figures at that time, so his literary talents emerged and his intellectual productions began to grow.

John Milton's life was not paved with happiness, but sadness took over a large part of him. However, he remained committed to hope and the pen, and his literary and intellectual productions began to follow one another and became platforms for introducing their readers to his reformist views, which made education his first and most important tool, leading to his contribution to political life in England, and his adoption of ideas such as peace, freedom of publication and expression, religious reform, and amending the church system in his country, in addition to his belief in the necessity of separating religion from the state And his support for a political system led by the educated elite of his countrymen.

John Milton remained generous and had a distinguished intellectual output despite losing his sight and retiring from his home until his star faded in 1674 AD.
