Technical characteristics in the poetry of Al-Waleed bin Uqba

Abstract

The Study aimed to highlight the most important artistic characteristics that are embodied in the poetry of Al-Walid bin Uqba، and to clarify his personality. The analytical method is adopted in this study. The study found that the poetry of Al-Walid bin Uqba was not born of chance، but rather went through the fluctuations of events that affected his poetry، and perhaps the killing of Caliph Othman bin Affan had the greatest impact on this poetry. Therefore، the researcher recommends studying his poetry from many aspects، form and content.
