Archiving Policy

The Ibn Khaldoun Journal for Studies and Researches is committed to preserving published scholarly content and ensuring its long-term accessibility in accordance with the best international practices in academic publishing, in recognition of the importance of safeguarding scholarly production and making it accessible to researchers over time.

The journal adopts a comprehensive digital archiving policy based on the following principles:

  1. Providing open access to all published issues and articles through the journal’s official website.
  2. Creating regular backup copies of all journal files and databases and storing them in secure environments to ensure content recovery when needed.
  3. Preserving published articles in standardized digital formats that ensure future accessibility and citability.
  4. Not deleting any published research except in cases of retraction or correction in accordance with publication ethics and the journal’s policies.
  5. Encouraging authors to deposit the published version of their research in institutional repositories and subject-based repositories, with proper citation of the journal’s original publication details.
